Do you have to remove the two alloy water pipes at the front of the engine to fit the left hand cam cover ?

I did just the same :smash:

I did that too when fitting my water pump, sadly i got it to the point of having the rad back in and the boost pipes on before having to take em all off again!!

That's what i was doing but they weren't dry so i was getting on with things then realised :slap::mad:

Oh dear, well no matter how tempted you may be dont even consider running it without the cam covers, only dumb americans do that!!
