Did you not wire brush them first with a fast drill ?. this would have made them a lot smoother rather than the rough surface they have.

 

 

Also if you want to, take a flat file and rub down the Nissan logo and it will come out looking very nice.

Far too lazy for the wire brush thing, not sure what to do with the nissan logo, think i may just leave them all 1 colour, dont want to give the paint any opportunity to start flaking over time.

I ground my Nissan logo off with an angle grinder :eek: :)

Yeah, a simple nail file (don't tell the wife) is what you should have used. An angle grinder is a little overkill :D.

I used the G2 Kit and it was easy and has lasted for ever

wire drill IS for lazy peeps :D worked a treat for me.

 

painting in situ u lazy bugger. discs and calipers have to come off with new discs anyhow haha. good job anyhow ;)

 

ive been meaning to do that file job myself.
