Bought a HID kit about a year ago and I seem to remember being told with this particular kit I had to add a wire (I think for earth purposes) but Im not sure as to add it to where and from where Anyone know what Im talking about??:D

I think its so that when you flash your high beams your dipped don't go out! I believe you just earth one of the wires against the body of the car. HTH :)

Not to sound any stupider than I usually do earth what wire??

 

The plug that used to go on your bulb, but now the ballast wires plug into it, earth the earth wire against the body somewhere. Does that make sense? :)
