I WANT A SWB!

i darent say anything to the mrs as iv already caned over 10k on my RED () family wagon since around this time last year so i think she will slash my throat, prize my finger nails off with a bottle opener and feed my nuts to the dogs :(

convince me that im chatting sh!t and that the grass isnt greener on the other side! i cant help but think the swb is a 'proper' zed and if i end up spending £££ on a colour change repaint on my estate model i might live to regret it?

lol you havent read quaveys other posts have you?

No, but i dont care....LWB all the way ...end of,lol:smash:

lol ahh i just like the idea of as little weight as possible, its not that the SWB is particularly unattractive, if there was only that model is would still be a nice car. but its not quite as pretty as the LWB in my eyes.

However, the SWB tin top is considerably lighter and stiffer which is better for what i want next.

End of the day im going to have to spend a stupid amount of money on my zed to keep up with evos and scoobies round a track. So if im going to do that id rather give my self the best possible start - and start with a light stiff version to begin with.

Although i will miss the targa roof i must admit - Insurance pisses me off, cant see why we cant have two cars on one policy in this bloody country, same for road tax. I can only drive one at once, so what does it matter about the other one (As long as its insured for theft of course)

Stupid country that we live in!

Ye depends what your intending to use it for, mines for me n i like it so LWB IN GREY WITH RAINBOW FLAKE...thats my taste:tongue:

Jimmy makes a fair point, the LWB is easier to hold a drift. The SWB responds much quicker and you have to be on your toes to catch it.

LWB for Drifting, SWB for Handling ;)

ahah so there

Oh bad as it is, if i could and had the space id have a raft of them

Odly enough i still miss my auto, let alone the desire for a wick little manual NA slicktop.

I could happily own 4.

TT SWB Manual Slicktop

TT Auto LWB

NA SWB Manual Slicktop

and a Convertible

Zeds for all occasions, IMHO the cream of the combination and ranges :)

you missed the best....MANUAL..TT..JAPSPEC LWB:mac1:

which is what i have if you remember correctly! :p

so why you talking nonsense????????:slap:

Tried both and definitely prefer the looks and drive of the SWB!!

Even Gran Tourismo says the SWB is when Nissan got serious about prodiucing an out and out sports car!!

I've had two LWB TT's and one SWB NA.

The shortie was the best by MILES!! And you can drift a swb, but it's harder to hold a long drift. Overall handling is way better than a 2+2 though, particularly as mine was a manual slicktop too.

If and when the current owner of my old shortie decides it's time to sell up, I WILL buy it back - I miss it so much :(

Hi,

The swb model looks a bit stumpy as though it's been rear ended by another car and the rear of the car sits up too high!

However, if you're the lonely type and haven't a family or many friends to transport, then I'm sure it's more sporting to drive!:p

Funny how Nissan used the LWB version for motorsport though!;)

Cheerz,

Jez.

Dave should no he has first hand experience:x:

Fibreglass bodies and tubular framed chassis. Fully integral cage. Driver sits where the rear seat would of been. Slicktop roof.

Not exactly a LWB as we know it ;)

ahah so there

IE LWB for drifting only

SWB for everything else

Everyone has missed out one very important fact with the lwb, its the only one you can shag in, and shagging is important its the base of our existance and if we couldnt do it we wouldnt be here, so the lwb is the most important end of story lwb all the way :D

No it'snot ;) :D

I Agree. What do you think the Targa tops are for Jim. + If she's not to tall you can leave the roof pannels on. You don't bang your head too much ;):slap::rolleyes:

SWB makes people think your a jaffa and cant have kids LOL.

TBH if i wanted a 2 seater sports car I would have bough an MR2
