Who has breakdown recovery insurance?

Is it with your current insurer?

Does anyone know a good independant recovery policy provider?

It seems insurance companies are now conning people into either taking out Recovery at time of renewal or else they won't do it at all. Not suggesting it's another con, but I can't think of another word.

I have it through the insurance company, and I got it put on my misses policy part way through the year, had to pay the same price as for a full year though.

Never had any problems with it and seem to be cheaper that aa and that like.

i use the AA, they have an offer on where you can have breakdown repiar cover for about £15 per month and pays up to £500 of your bill with a £25 excess, i've cancelled though cos i'm not keepin the car by the looks of things.

what happens to your no claims though if you have to use your insurance's breakdown cover? it's no good if you lose your no claims just for a break down.

AA for me.

Most of the insurers seem to offer optional breakdown cover when you take out your poloicy, I'd never bother using them though....not unless they use AA. I think they usually use somebody like Greenflag.

Nothing, they are just reselling breakdown cover to you as a third party.

doesn't the car need to have fsh and be under a certain age tho??

I am talking about breakdown and repatriation of car and driver to UK if breakdown in Europe.

Thats what AA do.

I'm with the AA. But have just found out that I am also covered by Green Flag through my bank account.
