...either that or anyone else have a sandwich plate for sale? I've been looking around for one that doesn't leak but it seems they all do! GReddy are supposed to be the best bet?

Any idea how long ago it was mate? I did have a search which is why I've concluded they all leak as a few people mentioned the GReddy plate leaked as well! Will have another look though.

Can you not modify the sandwiche plate so that its has a good seal?

Would be quite simple to do. maybe use some kind of sealing lube or maybe apply a layer of hard glue to the plate before fitting wait till it drys and has hardened so the plate is slightly thicker giving it a tighter fit, i know it sounds kinda botch but worth a shot. Araldite???
