Ok any advice from anyone in the know would be very gratefully recieved here.

As you may know I have been goiun g through some electrical probs.

I am stumpped because I know nothing about the function of this device. I have printed a schemetic and understand that but the following have me at a loss:

all A.C.S.D.

cancel relay?

clutch switch?

cancel switch?

main switch?

hold relay?

All I require if poss is an explation of what this system acctually does.

My problems are the speedo isnt working and the steering goes heavy and light when it feels like it and I can only think that it must be this system.

Thanks for any help

nice one Bri. the only prob is that i just fitted another set of clocks and its still the same. But thanks bud. The problem is the steering is normal and then goes a bit heavy. After about 2 miles. I stop and when I go again it does the same thing. Sometimes however it might not go heavy for about 4 or 5 miles?

Just another little thing for me to sus out. I dont mind though because its a learning curve for the future :)

The fault can usually be traced to either a dodgy speed sensor on the gearbox or a Malfunctioning KPH>MPH convertor.

THe ASCD is the Cruise control.
