I'm gonna need a second battery for my sound system, I was wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram or a how to file on how to do it

So I could just run a cable from the alternator and will be fine? no need for a relay?

Id personally go for a purpose built ICE/leisure battery as im guessing the battery you have is liquid cell? Wouldnt want the fumes/acid escaping into your car :) How many watts(rms) will you be running to warrant a second battery?

 

The relay i had was from Maplins, was really cheap, will see if i can find more out for you.

Not sure yet, so far I have

2x15" subs(1200rms each)

2x12" infinity subs

2X12" magnet subs

 

I will then be filling any leftover space with 6x9's and components

My mate had this problem and he has fitted a capacitor to help power up the audio and he also is running an inverter to power a laser and smoke machine all in the boot of he's Prelude:p
