so sad :( things are run so tight these days just to save money. and this causes the quality of everyone's lives to deteriorate - be it dying in what is supposed to be the best place for ill people - a hospital - closure of local post offices which were not only many years old and convenient for those who can't travel far but also centres of the community, or even a local pub (Horse & Hounds) that for decades has been one of the most gorgeous country pubs ive known - now gutted and turned into a cheap feeding pit for chavs just cos its cheaper. RIP Britain.

I know I seem harsh but we don't have the whole story so can't come to an unbiased conclusion.

That person may be in there on a daily basis and fake the same thing every time unfortunately this occasion was real. We just don't know.

Where she was faking or not...she was check twice before anything was done... ahd the security guard done something the first time round she may still be alive........

Regardles; as a compassionate human being, one would expect intervention from someone. If I see someone fall, or who looks distressed or in trouble, I am the first person to go and help them up and see if they are ok. It may have something to do with the fact that my own father is disabled and is crippled, so if ever he's in trouble, I help. I guess it's a natural instinct for me to go and help. But there is such a thing as compassion which no one there seemed to have. You can't tell me that everyone in that room knew the woman and decided not to assist!!!

Exactly, if you don't know, then don't try and suggest stuff!! It certainly wasn't the first thing I thought of when I saw her collapse. If everytime you see someone collapse you think 'they might be faking it', then you got some issues.

That's not what I thought, people don't look at the whole picture. I'm just saying there may be other information that we don't know about that could change the whole aspect of the incident. That was just one possibility. People see one part of something and make a conclusion from that which isn't always the correct one. There may not be any other factors to this and it was complete negligence on all involved BUT we don't know that.

You're the only person who thought 'maybe she's faking it' and made a point of it rather than 'christ, that's horiffic' like most compassionate human beings. Which is what people find as disturbing as the video itself.

Yeah, but it's not the thing you say imediately after something like that, unless you're some kind of detective It's like seeing a photo of someone getting run down by a train then saying 'oh, he was probably trying to blow it up'.

I can see what Yampie may be trying to get at, that she MAY have been a serial complainer known for exadurating her ailments/symptoms etc etc etc............

 

BUT what ever the "bigger picture" may be with regarding the actual patient the hospital have a DUTY OF CARE to ALL patients which they have obviously neglected, which over rules every possible "bigger picture"
