Hello all

Had a go at fitting my new gauges today with Jimmy (cheers bud!) and found that the zcentre triple pillar pod doesn't seem to have any way of attaching it to the A-pillar

There is a screw hole near the top but nothing to screw into on the pillar. I know a few peple on here have the same/similar pods so was wondering what you all did to fix it in place?

Thanks in advance

lol...yes we took the old one off first! :slap:

Its a pod from zcentre so i would have though would be suited perfectly for fitting to the zed but only has one hole at the top for a screw. The problem being that it lines up with a hole in the pillar where the old one 'clipped' in so not much there for a screw to grip onto. Even if this was somehow screwed in at the top...the middle length of the strip still sags away from the pillar with the weight of the gauges....:(

did you screw along the length of the pod? It doesn't have holes and I'm not sure I want to create any if I can avoid it...

Go to the source ... phone Luke at the ZCentre and ask him - eliminate any guess work.

I fitted a plastic raw plug in the hole then screwed into the pug with a self tapper works perfect

I had this problem

Bloody oversight if you ask me. I cut a small steel plate and screwed that over the hole so I could put a self tapper in. Mine doesn't sag in the middle under weight, it's moulded slightly wrong.

ahh i remember fitting mine now...where the hole is in the a-pillar put a wooden plug in there and a nice black headed self tapper and the jobs a goodun

I velcro'd the top of mine. But for some reason after it rains and I put my foot down, water comes out of the center pod lmao !!. Gotta replace my targa seals :)
