I've just placed a fairly big order with Z1 but they claim that they can't mark the value down for customs if I pay by credit card. They could only do so if I pay by wire transfer. Does this follow anyone else's experience or are they just trying it on?

I have payed by credit card before and they marked it down to about 100 dollars for 2000 dollars worth of stuff, i must say that im not a massive fan of Z1 but thats just me !

Gotta ask mate, if it's a big order which obviously means quite some ££££, why you want it marking down and take a risk ? okay maybe knock say 20% off at most, but more than that is a gamble.

Oh an also ensure US and UK/Jap parts are compatible, whilst they sell worldwide, they don't sit there and think, "ah, this guy's part ain't gonna fit his model"

Im greek i love a gamble :D

I think its because the card recipt cannot be altered, when they mark down the value it wont match up with the card recipt.

Not that worried about the actual charges Paul - TBH it's more the principal of the thing if you know what I mean? ;)

I've also had great dealings with Coz myself - this order really had to go through Z1 however...

I think there's a new rule out now though. Anything over £18 can not be declared as a gift.
