Hi All,

I have a HD DVD player on my laptop and I want to play it through my LCD telly. Anyone know which lead I need to do it?.

I know I'm as thick as a **** :slap:

Cheers,

Clinterous Thrusterous.

hdmi lead, but the sound card on the laptop needs to be set for sound out, otherwise you will only get the pic on the tv and sound from the laptop HTH

They are not cheap either, expect to pay around £50 for a good hdmi lead.. what a bloody monopoly i say :(

HDMI cable does the vision and sound in one cable

dvi to hdmi, try maplins or tesco home ,bout 30 quid

you don't need to pay lots for a HDMI cable, as your see no difference in a £20 to £60cable. after all it's a digital signal

i found a cable in B&Q (of all places!) which allowed my to use the plasma telly at home as a monitor for my laptop cost about £7 does the job...quite a long lead too
