My wheels need a refurb.

I've been thinking about this for 3 years now !!!.

Keep then silver, go black chrome (don't like normal chrome) Or a nice deep gloss black.

Even after 3 years I still can't make up my mind.

I have a set of stock wheels at home. I think I'm going to paint them black and put them on the car to see how they look. Photoshop just doesn't seem to convince me to make a decision.

Personally don't like black wheels in the slightest. The car looses presence and the wheels loose all definition.

A gun metal grey is a far better half-way house IMHO. You can't beat silver/shadow chrome. Gives a nice crisp and fresh appearance when new.

Yep, gunmetal/grey perhaps, but not black, certainly not with a light coloured car.

I always think dark wheel (especially black) blend in too much with the tyres and don't look very good. IMO i'd stick with lighter colours :)

i like black chrome....think it would suit ur car aswell

Fas

Agreed.. If you fancy going black, I think black chrome looks the biz :D

I always liked the look of Uno / James300's black/silver wheels, especially on a silver Zed.

Flat black with a shiney or chrome rim is very nice with shiney nuts :D. It adds a sporty come track car look. IMO.

Not sure that would work on my wheels as they don't have a rim as such, the spokes kinda join flush to the outta edge.

You, of course are right mate. I didnt thnik about that :slap::rofl: Leave the spokes silver and do the rest of the wheel black? Photoshop coming:?:)

I wasn't sure either asked for my wheels to be done dark grey but they came back near enough black, now i think they suit the car really well

Do you have any more pictures of your car nutter maybe side view ?.

I checked your rides but it's empty.

leave them silver otherwise it will be called the silver and black streak

Don't do it stu. It looks classy with the silver wheels and much more boy racer with the black wheels. Of couse this is MHO. Black chrome Centres with shiny rims is different but pure black looks like you have 4 spares on.
