All Parents, give your kids a hug, no matter what they arent this evil

My best mate rang me yesturday to talk, didnt realy say much but was obviously upset. Turned out he had been keeping some money in the house which he was saving to develop another house he had bought. 60K in notes in cash register.

Over teh past few weeks he has been having a tough time with his 15 year old son, who he suspected of dipping his moms and into his money. So he changed the box over.

Yesturday I get a phone call he is beside himself, his son has answered teh door and 2 masked men have bursed in, beat him up and taken teh cash box which was hidden. They didnt take anything else in teh house, just the box.

Something didnt add up and my mate put 2 and 2 together, his son has been stealing not the occasional £10 but £1000 a time and spending it on his girl and mates.

So him and 2 other mates decide to do the heist, 2 break in and smash the son up as arranged but leave way to many clues, then one of hem starts bragging on teh phone to another mate who is overheard by a mother, and the mother rings the police.

My best mate has lost all his life savings and it was stolen from him by his son, but get this, the slag of a mother is now saying that its all my mates fault and he should drop teh charges. the poor fella has lost his savings and may loose his house, the VAT men will be notified and we all know what will happen then.

So next time your kids ar being a pain in the ass, remember there are kids out tehre that dont deserve to live.

l'al ****er, wants his neck wringing.

The mother needs to be told where her place is as well. Your mate wants to get his money back by doing what ever he can, no holds bared.

Good luck to your friend!

F**k m8 tell him i got a couple spare baseball bats he can have, thats just seriously out of order, id be on a rampage right now......to lose 60k is no joke....gutted for him really.

God i hate reading this kinda stuff..

Id feel guilty taking loose change never mind 60k fook me

Bloke should take this into his own hands..... this is how murder is commited and its no joke..

If your son/daughter is taking thousands at a time then its your responsibility as a parent to know! If my kids take a bar of chocolate without asking i know about it, its called tough love and its what parenting is all about. My kids fear me and i hate it but they respect me and love me and show it day after day. You cannot watch your kids every minute of every day but you let them know when your not someone else is and you'll find out. My dad was tough on me when i was young and i hated him for it but he's honestly my best friend now and i'm glad he was tough. The saying "wait till your father gets home" has no meaning now as parents are too soft.

I really feel for your mate but parents have to vigilant from early on and do whats best and not what society says is best.

All my opinion but its how i was brought up.

you just described my mate.

didnt work, little fooker dipped the cash and when he was rumbled decided to rob it all in one go with help from mates. and his excuse is revenge on his dad, but tehn why was he nicking from his mom too.

I asked my mate why he doidnt know the money was going, and . I put the money in, not out it wasnt till i was taking out some cash for stuff for the house I realised some of teh stacks where missing.

2 days later its all gone and now I have a mate with no family, his savings gone adn a good chance he will loose his house and now we are worried he will top himself.

As a friend you have to be there for your friend but you need to be tough with him and not let him feel sorry for himself, he needs to know that you'll be there for him but he has to sort himself out and take control of the situation and stop being a victim. Tell him to press charges on his son, do everything to make his life difficult, don't tip toe around the situation but tell all friends and family about what he's done but he needs to have a man to man talk and tell him he's not a kid anymore, let him know he's got to accept the consequences and let him know that if he does this he'll be there for him.

You sound like a good friend Chris but your mate needs a good slap and let him know you'll help be there for him and his wife.

lol way ahead of you mate.

got him to ring teh TAX man today, tehy are going to help him would you beleive and if he does owe them they have said they will defer for 2 years. just got to let teh morgage know, but he dont owe them anythig yet.

Although I feel really sorry for your mate, what a wally keeping such a large amount of cash in the house........isn't that what banks are for!

It's call tax evasion.

Why should we pay tax on money we have already paid tax on ?

You get paid, tax is taken out, you save up the money you don;t spend form what you earn and they tax it again.

One of my mates is a cab driver, he's saved £75k over the last 5 - 6 years and none of it is in a bank.

sad news but ime affraid you aint going to like what ime going to say but...wtf was your mate thinking letting ANYONE know where the lolly was:confused::confused: is this story a wind up or what mate because iff that was me even ide have problems remembering where it was as it would be that well hidden...sorry bud but cant blame the kid on this one as he knew too much from the getgo:(

its bad enough when some complete stranger steals your stuff..... but your own flesh and blood! FFS ..... if that was my son - I'd get him locked up for sure! Serve your time like the rest of the criminals...... oh wait hang on, they are being freed left right & centre! :wack:

.... we're doomed!

I dont say much but jesus who brought the kid up ??? he isnt the only one to blame !!!!!

I feel gutted for the fella - not just on losing the £60k but for having his son do that to him.

But I for one would never keep £60,000 in the house!! In fact I never keep more than £60 at home. Money is safer in the bank; even though you are taxed on your earnings and again on the interest the money makes you are still better off.

At the end of the day though it is only money, the loss of love and trust between parents and their son must hurt more.

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I would have beat the little shIt to within and inch of his life then had him locked up, as for his mother saying drop the charges, dopey cow !! yeah right, so he can get away with it and turn into another deliquent who has gotten away with it once, and he will again.

Rob and I are tough on our children for this very same reason, We don't want problem children of the future, We want children who respect others and know how to act responsibly in the future.

I feel sorry for your friend, maybe next time he will get a safe and have it sunk in the floor, safe as a bank and no extra tax ! Send him our best wishes please.

Wendy xxxxxxxx

You are only taxed on the interest on the savings you put into a bank.

I think keeping 60k in your house is suicidal, in this day and age if you want to protect your family you should really keep it somewhere else.

If he had of got himself a safety deposit box he'd of saved himself 60k and his sons face.

Ok hes lost the money but imagine this, someone kicks his door in and beats up or kills him and his wife and kids for it, cos stuff like this happens for performance cars let alone massive wodges of cash.

He should count his blessing nothing more serious happend, and learn to put it somewhere a bit safer next time.

see the thing is, only the imediate family knew it was in teh house, and as far as he was concerned none of them knew how much was in there, like I said the kid got the keys and started dipping, when he got cought, and the money was blocked he thought, rob it.

on hind sight we can all say why wasnt it in the bank, hindsights a wonderfull ting, but youd be supprised how many people have said they keep money in teh house that the tax man knows naff al about.

I have to say they aint the most normal of families, shes spend most of her time waring with him, tehy only "togethere" becasue of teh kids.

Told him to cut all ties with tehm and walk away. yoou cant choose your family but you sure as hell can ignore them if their that bad.

Poor bloke, feel so sorry for him, i know in my household my parents installed a safe. Pointless if anyone else knows the code....

Tell him to buy assets next time...cars, gold.....anything that isn't paper for a start..I'm sure it wasn't stashed in pound coins??!!! ...imagine if a chip pan fire burn't the house down and the 60K went up in smoke instead of being stolen...This is beyond belief...

yup, everything your sayng about teh money being in the house isnt what ive already said. but you have to remember, some people just dont have a clue.

a fire he could deal with, actualy being burgled and it being stolen he could deal with, his sone finding teh keys and dipping, he could deal with, his son concocting a scam and robbing him.

dont forget the reason teh money was in tehre was for materials for his house which he was buying for cash, that meant he couldnt realy have the money in the bank.
