Abu Qatada released from prison

 

The radical Islamist preacher Abu Qatada has been released from prison on bail, police have said.

 

Qatada was freed from Long Lartin Prison, in Worcestershire, after winning his fight against deportation from Britain, West Mercia Police said.

 

A senior judge has signed papers authorising the release of Qatada, previously described as Osama Bin Laden's right-hand man in Europe.

 

The Palestinian-Jordanian preacher will be subjected to a 22-hour home curfew.

Im thinking it was better when Sadam was in power. At least there was 'some' control on the situation.
