Had a knock in the car a few weeks ago, hit a barrier head on and damaged the front end.

Have replaced the front bumper and headlights and centre panel this weekend but now it looks like the accident has pushed the passenger side headlight downwards so now there is a big gap between the bumper and headlight.

I wanted to know if you can get a new bit that the headlights mount on, not sure if its all connected to the slam panel or not or even how it joins to the rest of the car (i am hoping that it bolts on).

Does anyone know if i can replace this piece or do i have to have the original bit pulled out and lined up?

Also since the accident the car does not run properly, very erratic on tick over, does anyone have any ideas?

Is there anyone who lives near SE2 (Abbey Wood, London) who has a ConZult?

thanks

ross

been doing some searching on here

Where is the MAF located? is it on the air filter (i have an aftermarket cone filter)

could that be causing the erratic tick over?

It is possible mate. Try and get hold (borrow) a working MAF and change it over. Its located under the headlight panel and should be what your cone filter plugs into.

ed beat me to it. I was going to suggest that if have had an accident you are more than likely to have a boost leak.

i am going to run a ECU diagnostic to see if the MAF shows up any errors

How do i check for boost leaks?
