engine back in today...many many thanks Matt aka MTL ....anyways the power steering belt i had was for earlier series zeds they have bigger power steering units than mine so what i wanted to know is there a v-belt for the series 4 power steering which has a equiv to be found in halfords etc so i can crack on tomorrow

If you measure how many grooves are in the pulley, and measure the circumferance required with a piece of string they should be able to sort you out?

I'd guess the series 4 on PAS is the same as the NA Pas pump (as they lost the Hydraulic hicas). Its a 3 rib belt?

 

I could'nt find the correct 3 rib belt at the time when I fitted the NA pump to my TT, so I just swapped the pulleys over. They were the same size except for the number of ribs.

its a 3 rib belt.....good tip mate anyways i found the type in halfrauds its a drive belt with 3 ribs part no HB913d fits perfect
