Good that you were quick thinking and got the number. It could be genuine but these days with the influx of the worlds most notorious criminals into the UK you cant be too careful Dave.

I know it sounds petty but it might even be worth giving your local old bill a ring and just alert them as they might have been to a few more houses?

Exactamente!

Might be time to remove the fuel pump fuse when you are not using the car too!

Some people knock on the door just so they can see inside to see if the car keys are hanging near the door, Fishing rod trick - old school.

i always knock on doors and ask if people are selling and half the time they are LOL

lol me too:rolleyes:

Ive had about 5 people knock at teh door and ask if the car is for sale. And the amount of times my wife has been asked.

open to offers

Fook sake Dave I was praying for that for 6 months lol! But then again I live in a place where in the summertime I often go to bed after leaving the targas off, door open , keys in the ignition.......however, it's full of rednecks and chainsaw wielding one eyed men over here so you can't have everything

i normally get asked if i want mine scrapping!

LOL wish someone would come and offer me some money for mine. Id take it and find me a mega quick one from jap land!

I broke a Z years ago and as soon as the wheels were off and it was sitting on the drive I started getting those knocks at the door.

Just proves you dont realise how many pikey scum are trawling the streets at night looking to see whats about..

as for the Z, its always parked behind another car and the car keys are well away from the front door so hopefully a good deterrant. oh and two pi$$ed off dogs ;)

Ive had 2 people in 5 days ask me if im selling the astra, so ive alarmed the garage!!!

The zed attracted a fair bit of attention but nothing like the attention a 25 year old rustbucket gets!
