I know it sounds petty but it might even be worth giving your local old bill a ring and just alert them as they might have been to a few more houses?

Some people knock on the door just so they can see inside to see if the car keys are hanging near the door, Fishing rod trick - old school.

I broke a Z years ago and as soon as the wheels were off and it was sitting on the drive I started getting those knocks at the door.

as for the Z, its always parked behind another car and the car keys are well away from the front door so hopefully a good deterrant. oh and two pi$$ed off dogs ;)

Ive had 2 people in 5 days ask me if im selling the astra, so ive alarmed the garage!!!
