All the dash kit threads made me have a squizz on fleabay and I cam across this:

does anyone have this installed or anything similar? I've seem pics of the ally and CF kits but never one of this black chrome...might be quite nice i think...

IMO you would be much better of spraying it with Black Chrome paint, rather than putting on a bit of sticky back plastic.

I remember reading an article in one of the mags that said Ripspeed were doing a dip painting service of some sort where you took your parts in and you could have them coated in carbon fibre look stuff.

I'm sure one of the traders were doing that!!! Its a pint pattern floated on water then you dunk any 3d object in and it paints the pattern on!!

Good shout Joely! lol...just mulling over ideas really. Torn between CF and black chrome. This paint dipping idea sounds good but expensive? Does anyone have any links/info?
