I've got ohlin on the back of mine and they're brill, crank it up to 7/8 for fast road without being too uncomfortable then drop them right down for drag racing. nice progress feel in the corners. Thinking of getting a set for the front as well soon

I've sold a lot of KYB AGX with Eibach in the past when we used to supply new parts.

KYB AGX Shocks with Eibach Springs. Progressive springs, good ride quality, similar to stock but with improved damping and adjustablity (soft to hard). Lowers by about 0.8"

or Coilovers wise I would go for the Powertrix Superstreets for a Road car with comfort in mind and "SPL coilovers" or "Powertrix Race Coilovers" for a more fast road/track orientated setup. All have Mono struts with Adjustable damping and independent adjustable ride height.

You can get away without having to puchase adjustable arms with the KYB/Eibach setup, but you would need a full adustable arm setup with the coilovers.

This is without going crazy on a very expensive hardcore track coilover setup.

Got KYBs on mine. Very good. I'd say get uprated shocks over standard if you're fitting uprated springs.

Forgot to say if you dont need/want adjustablity then the KYB GR-2 is a good aftermarket strut and cheaper than Nissan oem.

What happened to Koni's?

Everyone was using them a few years ago when I changed mine.

They're old school  :D

LOL I like old school

Been great on my car and they're adjustable front and rear.

Just find it strange there's no mention of them anymore when they are a well known brand and every ****er had them at one point.

It's probably like the way everyone swore by Apexi BOV's for a couple of years just because GetGreddy was selling them to everyone on the site when actually they were weedy little farty things for girls

I used to have Koni;s and I rate them highly, but their major drawback next to the KYB's is the need to remove the rear shocks to adjust them :headvswal, whereas on the KYB's you just turn the adjuster on the side

Plus the KYB's have set adjustment positions (1,2,3,4..etc) , whereas its much harder to match the Koni's on each side without the clicks.

Tazer do it for me, but you cant beat a live plug socket

Where is the best place to source these then?

I have Tokico's and have nothing bad to say about them. They're not spring or ride height adjustable but the damping is easy to adjust.

That's a good enough reason to go with the KYB's then :)
