Ok, my car wouldn't start this morning. Its turning over fine but not starting. The only ot

her time it did it was when i had connected up the battery but not disarmed the imobiliser.

I locked / unlocked the car with the alarm button. Still wouldn't start.

Checked the fuse for the fuel pump (as couldn't hear it) and its blown.

Replaced the fuse and still no joy. The fuse isn't blowing?

Now the alarm isn't working at all. I do have a light on my keyfob? could try another key fob but i'm at my girlfriends accross town.

Could the fuel pump blow a fuse and the alarm??

Just waiting for it to get towed :cry:

Any help much appreciated.

does your alarm have a fuel cut of as well as an imobaliser.

I know my concept 600 not only disarms the ignition, it also cuts off the fuel.

Fuel Pump is not priming. The alarm is now not working at all. Normally disconnecting then re-connecting the battery there is a bleep from the alarm. Now theres nothing??

I know it might be a bit weird, but does your central locking work and your interior light.

Just asking as I know of a case when the central locking fuse went, this meant that unlocking the car manually did't communicate with the alarm and thus it would not release the immobiliser

have you got any juice at all in your battery ...try charging the battery with it dissconnected fully from the car ( take off the negative lead ) i think you have a dead or lots of cells buckled in the battery.

Ok Guys, it's fixed

It was just the fuse for the fuel pump. I took an auxillary fuse out of the elec windows and seats to try it the fuel pump socket. The stupid thing was that the power to the alarm is taken from that too!!!! hahahaha, so thats why the pump still wouldn't work even with a new fuse!!

Have made up a fuse in the mean time
