A diesel with 738lb ft of torque:shock: now thats going to pull very hard:bow:

fantastic but considering that high performance deisels are nearly as thirsty as the petrol models and deisel is more expensive to buy, then you might as well get the petrol one LOL

Both pet and derv cars look awsome, but if push come to shove, id get teh petrol one because I have an incling it will be as fast and cost less to run.

Very nice!

"It develops 500bhp and 738lb ft of torque, which is 86bhp and 421lb ft more than the standard V8 petrol R8. Decent."

That's a LOT more than the petrol model.

As people have said though, performance deisels use just as much fuel and it costs so much more now.

Not worth bothering and I bet it sounds crap compared with the petrol.

You'll never get 29mpg in it unless you leave it in 6th (which you could probably do with that torque LOL) all day long.
