I got a conversion kit from Dave C, and I’m going to fit tomorrow, but the clutch looks a bit small compared to the flywheel...! If it is a N/A clutch can I use it with my TT or do I need a TT clutch kit, also is the starter the same from an auto to manual N/A or TT as the only one I have is the auto one.

Any help would most appreciated.

What size is the clutch plate. Ie Diameter? and what diameter is the flywheel area where the clutch goes??

Starters are "one size fits all"

The pressure plate is 240mm as well as the clutch but the flywheel and got a mark of 250mm? Is the TT pressure plate same size as the N/A / Flywheel?

240mm is the stock NA clutch size. TT clutch is bigger. But Im not sure by how much.

Im sure someone else will be along to help with TT clutch size.

I had this problem when I ordered a clutch from America years ago. They sent me an N/A kit for my TT :(.

The friction plate WILL fit over the gearbox shaft. It is the correct diameter and correct splines.

The N/A pressure plate will NOT fit on the TT flywheel. the PCD for the bolt holes is too small. 240pcd=N/A 250pcd=TT

In my red Z i currently have a TT flywheel, TT pressure plate and N/A sintered iron friction plate. It has worked perfectly since 2003.

HTH and good luck!

If you've got an N/A clutch with your kit, it's simply not worth the grief getting it to fit. Assuming your zed is standard it won't last very long in a TT and if your a wee bit modified with higher BHP, it will not last much more than weeks!

Send it back................
