Ah right.I was reading that Stu was getting his back a few weeks ago.Is there much to do on yours James will you have it sorted this summer for some of national meets?

new engine should be built already so

add oil return into heads to aid draining to sump

fit oversized oil pan

fit new manifolds & turbos

fit 2.5" intake piping

swap engines ...

Shouldn't take too long, will be gutted if I miss the summer events as I'm also hoping to do a few track days this year once it's run in & mapped.

Ah right fingers crossed James. Keep us updated.

I've been promised "at the weekend" for 2 months now.

Apparently the latest is that the dip stick is stuck in the engine and he has to take the sump off to find the problem.

He did say he wanted to deliver it this wednesday but I told him that I would prefer a weekend rather than take a day off for what may be a no show.

So in Summary, not got it back yet and although I have been a told a date, I'm not going to believe it until I see it.

The bad news is that there are 3 peoples Zed's (that I know of, James being one of them) waiting for mine to be finished before theirs gets any work done on them.

wish my customers would wait that long! been busting my gut all month to get cars out each night!! :wack:

aaah the sump was put back on with the dipstick still in situ! common problem.

Anyone who's EVER built a zed engine knows to leave the dipstick out when fitting the sump

If the dipstick is stuck it WAS lol
