thinking about it a bit more, it probably has air suspension. there is no way that is driveable as it is. you couldn't slide a piece of paper under those sideskirts!!!

 Look how stretched those tyres are!

The rims would be trashed in no time if the tyres actually stayed on them.

I do like it though :D

Definately bagged. And it's gorgeous. A bit lairy for me. But gorgeous nonetheless ;)

Looks fooking ridiculous! LOL

Aaaaand got one in under 3 minutes! "Si-Baiting" should become an Olympic sport...hey, after all, the rest of the Olympics is a complete farce already..."little bit of politics, little bit of politics"...[/ben Elton] :p :D ;)

got a mate who has one of these as a project, will have the roof cut n shut too, and be rolling on air bags. but not the dodgy looking 'german' look tyres stretched on to rediculously wide wheels which seems so popular with the VW bunch at the mo'.

(will also have subaru power)

Am I right in thinking that the point of negative camber is that when your car leans as it goes round a corner, the outer tyres that are taking the weight, are then flat on the road, and therefore can provide more grip?

If so, for those tyres to be flat on the road, the other side of the car would be about two foot in the air!

Gotta say.... the beetle looks better than the 350 in that state! LOL

Oh and mgh297... There was this bird at college when I was there back in 96 - she had a beetle which she really drove with rear camber like that!! Must have eaten tyres for breakfast - unless someone makes a tyre with a shorter inner wall than the outer?

That aint camber. This is camber.

That's just dreadful. It just gives the impression of a car with knackered/broken suspension.
