Me and Maddie are having bit of a break, maybe for a few weeks, maybe for longer, but I had a rather distressing phone call this morning saying that she got attacked by a group of lads on Sunday night on the way back to her car whilst being out with friends. She was punched and thrown to the floor all for her handbag!!

 

She phoned me from the hospital earlier saying she'd gotten a broken rib, 2 further fractured ribs, internal brusing and a scratch to one of her lungs.

 

I'm absolutely f*cking fuming that someone could do this to a defenseless young woman. As morbid as it sounds though, she can count her lucky stars she didn't get raped. But still, it was horrific.

 

Pretty upset about it all, although not as upset as she is. :cry:

Unfortunately, not a lot the police can do. No CCTV no real whitnesses. People did hear her screaming, but the f**kers scarpered.

Different generation. We were brought up to believe that hitting a woman was just a no no. Only week shits do this sort of thing.

 

Hope that it has no real lasting effects to her confidence and that she recovers quickly for her injuries. Utterly dispicable. Please pass on my regaurd and well wishes
