With recent talk on here of jacks etc I thought I would treat myself to one of these fellas after my mate at his tyre fitting bay bought two.

I believe he bought them at Costco

Point noted. I always pop a couple of axle stands under as soon as I jack a motor up;)

the jack i have is very similar but its 20 years old lol, its an awsome piece of kit, i got it off my dad about 4 years ago, i think hes only oiled it once

Not really mate. I have been "umming and ahhing" about getting one for ages as Im sick of having to use the wind up Nissan Jack first before I get my 3 tonne trolley jack under the car. Also ally one is loads lighter and easy to pick up. Unlike my other one. seeing your thread and the comments about availability just made me go n do it. And actually I think the one I got is better than the Machine Mart version. Its bigger with a bigger weight capacity.

If you were anywhere near I would gladly pop round and help you but........you aint.
