Just went to get a tyre then to the petrol station and some young lad on a motorbike just ran into the side of my car:cry::rant: to say I am not best pleased is an under statement!! He has admitted it was his fault so just ringing insurance to let them know. Dont think it will be a write of, so not too bad I hope...but still really pi**ed off. Will put some pics up soon:cry:

Sorry to hear your Zed has got hit by a motorcyclist. I am genuinely sorry for you but, as an ex-biker myself, I also hope the rider's OK.........you're a bit vulnerable on a bike.

what details have you got of this guy lisa?

Name, address, telephone number and insurance company name

Name, address, telephone number and insurance company name

ahhhh lisa you should have taken his plate, what if they are false details...

you should have grabbed a witness too.

Legally, all you have to provide at the scene of an accident is Name and Address if its a damage only and if its a Personal Injury collision, then insurance details.

If you put in a claim, to find that the details are false, you are covered by the Motor Insurance Bureau.

Its ok, sent my mate to the petrol station where he has left it and got the reg;)feel quite sorry for the boy in a strange way cos his bike fu**ed really, just glad it wasnt worse than it was really. What really annoys me is just received whiplash cheque this morning from last time now gotta go thru it all again.

As for witness well Dave n I are witnesses, he was on his own

That is sad....sorry to hear Lisa. Fingers crossed it doesn't get written off and all works out!

Glad the biker go off ok but what a pratt...

ah for gods sake... If they banned bikes that wouldn't happen!

No Sympathy what so ever for the biker, its only a shame he didnt skin his pecker has he came of.

However poor zed, i hope it gets repaired sooner rather than later. And i hope the sod suffers for his lack of inteligence!

This is the thing with bikers, for being a total pain and in the way all the time, either crawling around doing no miles an hour round a corner, or weaving through traffic trying to get them selves killed they make a right mess of your paint work when they do crash through lack of ability or brain cells!

I used to be a biker as well... and one thing you dont do is open a modern 750 up off the lights in heavy traffic conditions as things happen very quickly, very young lad on a big bike = disaster

Dont feel sorry for him now.... he is trying to blaim us:rant: sent our report off yesterday and the have tried to say its our fault without receiving the report:confused:Waiting to hear again after they have read our side. Have to wait and see what happens...

well... if it falls through make sure he suffers more than the zed is worth to repair. You know where he lives.

Dam bikers, honestly, should all be banned then they can crash on their own!

If the claim does go through i would take personal injury to the max, stick bike insurance up globally... They should be made to pay a special "scrape me of the road WHEN i crash" tax. Now the weather is nice again, all weekend and most nights the air ambulance roars up the valley with a spatula to peel them up from the front of a van or a 4x4 or whatever other object they have managed to find to try and become one with.

Amazes me how they can say it isnt his fault...if the traffic crawling surely you cant just go whether green light or not, let alone open the bike up off the lights:rant:what if it had been a child he hit, would it be the childs fault for stepping in the road??Really pi**es me off...Had quote of £400 so not too bad, just dont want to pay for his bike as he admitted only dropped it last week bent all tank, we will end up paying for that and get insurance loaded cos he wasnt paying any attension, makes ya:hurl:

And ye, I do know where he lives;)

just read about this, sorry Lisa, go round and take his bike off him til he admits it or just sell it, lol
