I am putting a higher preasure rad cap on my Koyo and don't like the look of the black plastic cap on the top left.

Can I replace it with an alunimiun one? If so, where can I get one?

Do you mean rad cap or rad plug (i.e. bleed screw) ?

If it's a bleed screw. I've no idea where to get one but would be very interested in one myself if anyone finds one.

Also if you mean the bleed screw I would advice not to. I have a McCulock racing rad and it came with a Alloy bleed screw and the fisrt time I bled it the threads destroyed themselves and I had to runc around with a big nob off bolt in it for months until a could get a stainless one with nylon threads.

If you mean the bleed screw and you have a koyo rad, they are very prone to breaking, best advice would be to get a nylon bolt or a metal one just done up to the minimal torque!

Or you can use a tempriture transmitter for a ford escort, thats what i put in mine, perfect fit and correct thread.
