Sounds strange but we're viewing houses as we're planning to move asap and one of our (i mean the mrs.) main criteria is that the garden is south facing so gets the sun:rolleyes:....

I've been told that a good way to tell (if the agent or owner doesn;t know) is to look at the location of the sateliite dish as they always face south....

Can anyone confirm that this is true or have any other ideas (other than taking a compass with me of course!)

Does than not depend what part of the country you are in?

 

Just take a compass - that's the easy way.

 

Otherwise you can us your watch - point the hour hand at the sun and..........bugger - I forget the rest:x:
