I seem to have trashed a complete set of Bridgy S02's in about 4000 miles. Do we have a) a favoured recomendation for replacements and b) a reasonably priced supplier ?

I just checked Kwik-Fit online and came up with F £172, R £193. Last time I used them the price was OK, but they managed to get the wheels mixed up ( L-R not front to back!) and TOTALLY screwed the balancing.

I think they deliver too.

Try elitedirect.com I have been using Goodyear eagle F1's, they have lasted at least 10k and the roadholding in wet or dry is phenomenal.

Amazing quote from micheldever.co.uk:

225/50/16 z so2 £99.87

245/45/16 z so2 £116.32 out of stock but on order

These prices are fitted prices inc vat

There are only a couple of problems with Micheldever -

1) There is always a long queue of (mostly) performance cars on a Saturday, so get there early (9am is *not* early as we found out!).

2) They don't do 4-wheel alignment on Saturdays.

They do have 9 bays and lots of staff though, so the queue moves pretty quickly.

They're also supposedly very good for bike tyres.
