sorry i cant find prices for d2's only on ebay.....

i think they are an aussy product or something.

Your not going racing or anything are you stella? depends how you drive if ya wanna go all out and buy the best setup.... and then you will go and sell your car in a few months then you may aswell just go for a cheaper setup. how much you wanna spend?

is it just for the lowering...

simply for looks only, i need coilovers to get the back end to sit right, i aint got no intentions of going on a track lol, as you said, i may be seling in a years time

May be worth looking out for a second hand pair.

oooorr sorry to say but ebay sell those d2 ones for 485 delivered but not including the custom charges you may get.

hmmmmm, its about the price im hoping to pay, what sort of charges would incur do you think

There are some D2 coilovers on ebay now but they are £680 and the spring rates are too stiff for the road IMO (12kg and 8kg which is stiffer than Teins, SPL..etc)

I'll be ordering a set of SPL coilovers in the next few weeks.

hard to say, you can messgae them and ask to reduce the value on the customs for and mark as a gift. but £500 would prob work out to about £100 more or less.

SPL Coilovers are $1099 + $180 shipping. So between £660 and £800 depending on wether you get hit with Full Duty/Vat ..etc

Spring rates are a much more arse pleasing 8kg front and 6kg rear

sounds like a lot, probably wont have the mony next month lol, how much are teins at trade price?????

d2 are UK based also so no customs charges

Are they?

can ya find a site that sells them? i cant find one....

hmmmm, £425 for the d2 coilovers, not bad, what do you think the ride would be like, not to keen on a really harsh ride, but for £425 you cant grumble

Thats why im trying to find some feedback from anyone on here who may have used them or is using them.

I've now got a set of SPL coilovers I'm putting on the V8 in place of the Teins I was going to put on. The Teins are very good (well, the slightly older Tein HA that I have, which were spot on IMO, rather than the more modern Flex which is a bit on the harsh side) but after talking in-depth to a few people who run the SPL system I decided it was worth parting with the extra cash.

Are they?

Impulse Performance sell them, mate. Like Dave says, I really wouldn't recommend them for anything other than glass smooth surfaces, although you can have them rebuilt to your own spring and damping preferences, but that's extra cost, naturally!

There is a trader on japgilrs who is offering a discount on all TEIN products.

Check it out!

You do get what you pay for with these things. I run Cusco coilovers and have to say that I cannot fault them. I had tein HAs fitted before but didn’t like the ride as I use it as an everyday car. Also tein's have a bad reputation for rusting/corroding and the adjusters jamming " I know from many bad experiences"

I bought my tein ha's second hand and your right they were rusted and a bit jammed but i rubbed them down resprayed them and they are working great, just make sure you keep the thread greased.

The rep for rust etc only apllies to the older teins they have recently improved ive heard... or read somewhere.
