OK,

When you browse the net, or order parts off the net, Which AMERICAN Z company do you use out of these companies.

What has your experience been like, do they mark down stuff to save import duty...... what for you makes them better than their american counter parts

Over to you

Nick

I have spent quite a lot of money with Z1motorsport including turbos. One of the turbos has failed after 450 miles and the response is not what you want to hear. They first told me that the turbos have not failed but the oil feed pipes (purchased from them) needed modifying, .i.e. brazing up and a specific size hole drilled in it. They then put me on to their turbo man and he was adimant that the oil feed was the problem. When I mentioned that the pipes were also purchased from them as part of the kit, and why were they not modified to suit the turbos, they then changed track. They have now sent me a CHRA (a turbo core) which entails the engine being taken out again once again, at my expense to be replaced. Be warned, your warranty is not worth nothing when it goes wrong from this company, they squirmed like a worm on a hook to get out of accepting that their item could have failed. I am not impressed to say the least.

Also worth bearing in mind is the potential cost of RETURNING a part under warranty to the US.(Assuming they honour the warranty of course)

10kg parcel.... post to a UK source... £11.459std parcelforce)

10kg parcel.....post to a US source...£89.00(int std rate Parcel force:shock:

I wont be ordering anything from the US ever again I have just paid over $200 in tax and shipping for a delta kite to train my falcon:rolleyes:

I've used all 4 and found them all very good, so I haven't voted as you can only vote for one. The poll needs to be multiple choice.

I have used both Z1 and Courtesy Nissan and had no problems from either. Everything ordered has arrived very quickley, but getting the bill later from DHL/UPS is not so good.

used courtesy once for badges, bloody expense getting stuff shipped over though!!
