OK,

When you browse the net, or order parts off the net, Which AMERICAN Z company do you use out of these companies.

What has your experience been like, do they mark down stuff to save import duty...... what for you makes them better than their american counter parts

Over to you

Nick

Have never actually ordered anything from any of them YET, however when browsing i spend most time on Z1.

I use Z1 and Courtesy Nissan (not mentioned). Both are spot on offering great service.

There are loads more...see my 'links' thread! LOL

I've also used Ionic Dynamics. Met the owner of this out in San Diego a few years ago. Top guy.

I just wanted to add the ones that people mention most of the time when it comes to getting stuff from america

I've used Concept Zed before and found them extremely helpful indeed.

I do believe (if my memory serves me correctly ;) ) that they did mark it down for import duty reasons, they were very quick and I couldn't recommend them enough.

As for the others I've not used either of them yet, so can't really comment.

i used z1 for alot of my rebuild stuff. Came pretty quickly and not too badly priced either!!!!

Been thinking about using Z1, just wondered if they charge import tax, so good thread:cool:

I think the company names need to be edited. It's Speciality Z and Concept Z...not Zed. ;)

Out of those, almost always Coz at Concept Z Performance. Great guy, knows his stuff and well versed in some of the "finer" aspects of overseas shipping ;)

Agreed.

When i tried to look up Speciality Zed it came up with crap all, i then tried Specialty 300zx and it found the correct site (specialtyz.com). I'm sure others will make that mistake aswell, well worth correcting :)

I tihnk my clutch came from Gripforce of Ebay, very helpful and speedy service. Not used any of the rest though, i have resisting buying turbos from over there, although im geting weaker on a daily basis.

So none of these charge inport tax? and which shipping method do I need to use? I am a women after all:tongue:

None of them charge import tax. Customs do that when the stuff lands on UK shores.

Thats what I meant:wack:So how much does that cost then, lol

Most companys put a low value on so you arnt charged so much. I think i paid £30 duty and handling from UPS for the customs and taxes, so wasnt bad on a clutch (made my stage 2 organic carbon clutch and lightened flywheel £260 delivered or so)

Depends on the value of the goods. I think customs charge about 10%.

Coz for me too, always helpfull and has never let me down.
