not 100% sure but i think they are garrett t25s. im sure someone will correct me if wrong.

thanks

standard they are T2/T25 hybrids, manual and auot are similar, however the auto turbos are slightly smaller to aid spool up time and suit the different cams in the auto cars. (264* vs 278 i seem to remember?)

I think the housings are the same size just the actual impellors/compressors are different. I could be wrong though :)

im new here, recently purchaesd 300zx 2+2 tt,blue, manual, has had mods done by vannken, have you heard of them

Van Aaken seem to have a good name for themselves from what I've heard. Thought they specialised in diesels though. Based near Reading.

Random?

Yes, this...in a thread about turbo sizes.

stock turbos are hybrids: TB22 (turbine/exhaust side) T25 (compressor/intake side)

the core or CHRA (rotating parts) of auto and manual turbos are exactly the same and can be interchanged.

The only difference between auto and manual turbos is just the exhaust housing/shell:

it has a slightly lower AR-ratio, to help the turbo to spoolup quicker
