I know this is a topic that has come up alot recently.

 

In the next 12 months, im going to be upgrading to a Ksport 356mm kit for the front and a 330mm kit for the rear.

 

What i want to know is how can i work out what offset im going to need to make sure i clear the brakes properly.

i think the offset is not the issue but more the diameter of the rim,but i could be corrected

depends on the spoke design, as for size, some 17" will clear, 18" will be fine.

You have to go to a gym and lift heavy objects in funny directions.

Becuase of a lot of it is down to spoke design it makes the task a bit trial and error (or base it on the setups others have used)

Nick , will that keep the same brake bias as designed ? or will it make the front over heavily braked with respect to the rear ??
