I am not a great lover of all things Italian Andy but a pure peace of biking history there. I would buy it just for the staus it carry's now a days.

 

Better I spose than all the plastic missiles zooming around lately.

I used to have a Darmah identical to this one (it started off ratty black and ended up pristine red), so it's a bit of a nostalgia thing for me. I also had friends with various Laverdas, one red and one orange, not to mention heaps of specials (ever seen an Egli Ducati - my friend built one).

 

Still if I buy this I ought to sell my Harris Magnum .....

Dont get me wrong bud. I am hoping to get one soon. Well its a YZF1000 Thunderace. I dont want a R1 I absofookinlutely love the Thunderace. The old stuff just makes me remeber days gone by and I smile :)

Theres some nice classics there bud, thats impressive.

I suppose its different coming from a younger generation, when the bikes i have owned age il be kinda feeling the same way about them.

Oh don't get me wrong, I like modern bikes too, I'll have a new Ducati every day of the week, and a Guzzi and any bright green Kawasaki and anything that behaves like a ground-to-ground missile ...

Thats just stunning, ive loved dukes from when i was a nipper, especially the old ones.

 

There is a legit Maserati single in my local mounted on the wall, just a beautiful peice of engineering. Ill try and get a pic of it on sunday, but Maserati have asked to buy it so they can put it into there museum
