I've seen some of your fittings on the left! But im looking for an upgrade on all 4 speakers - front ok there not that bad to get hold of - - But the back std size spkrs I cant find. even in specialist shops!

I want to fit std size upgrade spkrs x4. + amp with two subs, one in the tool box, & one in opposite boot space compartment. Need boot space.

I'd like to keep all 4 std size spkrs same make, any ideas. Im running a pioneer head 45w x 4 if that helps. At presant I have 2 hitatchi's std's split to buggery Sounds like a f+++Y fart not good!

A mate of mine who is an ice fitter got me a pair of Infinity speakers that are just slightly smaller than stock rears. I just mounted them on a piece of mdf and they work fine.

Im not that interested in ice and dont want to loose boot space either so its good enough for me.

When Bob did my install (see Bobs Place/Mark on left) he replace ALL the speakers including the fronts & rears. Give him a call - hell be able to sort you out a good quality set of speakers at a great price.

Alternatively, talk to Tooley - his installation has used a neat 'trick' to get bigger speakers into the standard fittings.

Sound good, i'll speak to bob on the 1st, I think he might make a few quid next sunday!

Tooley whats this neat trick you do to fit larger speakers in the rear boot space (in standard fitting place) got me hacksaw out trying to fit a nice pair of Kenwood 6x9s.

Is this toooooo big or not.

its a bit tricky m8 if your at nico's this saturday i'll show you it does entail you cutting part of the dome surrounding the speaker to fit it past the speaker housing but the cover that goes over stops it looking to messy and still gives you monster sound.now my subs are past their bedding in phase i'm gonna have a dabble with the amps as the rockfords can put out some bass when called upon to do so
