On the rear window runner, the one that you can see when you wind the window down on the pillar, there's a small pin that goes through the glass, at end of that is a ball type joint I believe. In the runner is a slider with a socket on the end of this I think.

 

Has anyone ever replaced these? Over time, they wear a little bit leaving the window to rattle ever so slightly. Mine's not too bad, but want to replace it anyway since I've got my doors in pieces.

 

Just wondering what's the best way to do this? Take the trim off the outer part of the pillar and do it through there or actually take the runner out from inside the door?

 

Any help would be great. If anyone's taken it all apart and has photos that would be a bonus too.
