CheerZ Si, so S1 had tweed or leather as and option but S2 had alcantara/suede type material on the panels as well as leather seats ? I've been trawling the internet for some interior pictures but not found much.

Series one had leather or tweed as an option yes, but regardless of seat choice, the panels all still came with tweed. UK spec ones have like a bluey-grey tweed and JDM spec ones have a grey tweed. Some bluie varients came with blue dash, panels and blue tweed. In the US a tan version was available...which looked miserable. Series 2 came with velour seats and alcantara/suede door cards. Leather was an option, but that was just for the seats, door cards and other trim remained the same.

This is a series 2 interior...in what appears to be a series 1 (series 2 had airbags I believe).

Series 2s also had electric passenger seats. I've just bought myself one for my retrim. :)

I am wanting to keep my Z looking like stock, OK I have cleared the front indicators, have clear side repeats, lowered on Ebach springs and I have 3 gauges under the CD player (amungst other things under tho bonnet). Stock UK wheels and I want all the other interior looking like stock, any piccies anyone ?

Just get a series 2 velour interior then. Stock Z leather is not of the greatest quality nowadays as most is looking a bit rough. You'll find the odd ones that have tidy interiors, but those tend to stay in the tidy cars. What I'd suggest you do is buy some series 2 door cards and then retrim your stock seats with a leather seat skin kit from Katzkinz or leatherseats.com. You can get them in just stock black leather if that's the route you're going. It'll all look like new then. :)

Series 2 and 3 had two different interior options.

Velour or Alcantra/Suede.

I believe it may have been down to the Seat choice. If you had Velour cloth seats then you had velour panels. If you had leather seats then you got the Alcantra/suede panels.

The Velour is quite a soft long pile material. The Alcantra/suede is a very short pile/flat material.

Series 4 onwards went back to Tweed for some reason, but Black instead of grey.

The Alcantra/suede (I never know what to call it) is by far my favourite.

Grey Tweed (most common - Series 1 cars)

Blue Tweed (rare option for Series 1 Saphire blue Z32's)

Velour (series 2)

Alcantra (series 2/3)

Black Tweed (s4 onwards)
