I have only ever heard of fast flashing when one of the three indicator bulbs is not working on one side.

May sound very stupid, i take it you have looked at the other two bulbs down that particular side?

I've had the same problem and was as puzzled as you!

Turned out to be a bad connection from the black earth wire to the bulb holder which is impossible to get at. It showed continuity with the meter but it just wasn't good enough to take the power required by the bulb. My solution was to buy another indicator loom off this site, (it should arrive in a few days), someone else on here cured the same problem by replacing the bulb holder.

Had this same prob today when fitted new bulbs, didnt take much notice and put the bulbs in and they worked but flashed quick, turned out the offset of the pins were wrong, put some straight pin bulbs in and cured.
