I'm down in Poole at the moment on the Dorset coast where the worst of the storm/storm surges is supposed to be.

Apologies for this one not being the right way up. On some crappy slow computer down here that's not loading up paint or the photobucket edit suite.

As you can see, it's pretty rough. This is an eclosed harbour too, so it must be pretty awful mid-channel! Wasn't even high tide here.

Peugeot garage underwater.

Most of this street already flooded, passable with care, but homes and properties along it are underwater.

Where's that - looks like the next road down from my parents

Those poor people whose homes get flooded!!

It must be absolutely heartbreaking, in Doncaster there are stillfamilies living in caravans from the flooding in July i think it was!

What a shame to see my favourite coastal town under water. I hope the waterfront Wetherspoon's isn't too badly damaged.......I will be hoping for my usual Mixed Grill + a Drink for £6.79 the next Tuesday I come down in my Zed.

they all look like that in poole!

Fortunately not the one my folks live down, apparently (I just checked) :)

Dam dude that is bad weather! Its not too bad up here in bristol, no floods yet

Think it was more of a case of spring high tides and strong onshore winds that played more of a part in it Gaz.

well my zed's stuck at work....

came back from a day out in Abingdon only to find a massive pool of water covering the whole car park with peoples cars floating about in the middle and my lil zed on the other side all dry but unaccessible :(

Wellies on - and one zed parked in next doors warehouse over night as cant drive through the water to get home *sigh*

Zed top left corner (red arrow) - green dotted line is the route I gotta take to get out the car park - errr no chance (worse in the middle and as you go right)

yeah all good... was locked up in the warehouse (the only place i could drive it without going through the water was into the warehouse) Next day got to work, everything was drained..... 1 x zed safe and sound :)
