After going to the bother of working out the UK vs US costs for stock Nissan parts, I thought I'd post them on the fourm:

The US is a good source for stock Nissan parts (but, obviously not heavy ones like the gear box!):

UK price = £Cost * 17.5%

US price = $Cost / 1.5 + 10% + 5% + 17.5% (1.5 = current ex-rate, 10% postage guess, 5% Duty, 17.5% VAT)

O-ring : UK £16.22 US £8.58

O-ring top gasket: UK £ 4.23 US £2.06

PCV Valve UK £42.54 US £.6.22

Fuel hose(fliter>rail) UK £30.90 US £19.55

Fuel Filter UK £11.52 US?

UK total : £93.88 - US total £36.42 (totals without Fuel filter)

US prices from Vince in Texas, UK from Nissan dealer

BTW - The prices are for 6 O rings, 2 PCV valves - not individual prices, a full set!

Did you tell the UK Nissan dealer about the US prices? It would be interesting to see their reaction...

Jez,

I got my fuel filter from Courtesy Nissan a few months ago, it was $10.49.

I bought cambelt, fuel rails with ancillaries, spark plugs, several oil and fuel filters, decals, shocks, springs, etc etc

I've told my local dealer that they are a rip off but the reason is that they rarely sell Z parts!!
