Donington is a superb track, I have never had a problem with the noise limit and it works out good value too. You get around 2 hours and 20 mins on the track all in!

I'd love to matey but i can't risk blowing the engine JUST yet lol

 

It's smoking a fair bit atm but i won't start with the new engine till later this year after i've at least tidied the look of the car up and sorted the handling out... and stopped the gearbox from dropping off :rofl:

Yeah, I'm going up north!

 

As you know with Zeds, they are never "completely" fixed!

It should get me there, round the track faster than everyone else and then home. Hopefully! lol

Come on Mark you'll love it. My place was booked by my mate so I am in the beginners (along with a mk2 golf, a mazda mx5 and a WRX scooby).

 

I entered in the intermediate group last year at Donington, I think the groups are all pretty similar on these open days.

 

If a few of you boys with zeds go in the intermediate group I might see if I can switch. It's always nice to be able to compare apples with apples! :D :D :D

I don't think you will have turbo envy as even on the longest straight nobody gets above 120mph.

 

I will N/A envy on all the slower corners. You have a better final drive ratio and no lag. plus you have a slicktop. I think you might be the fastest there!

OK, for those of you who are coming along. We will start the convoy at 6am at the King William pub, 185 Sandridge Rd, St. Albans, Hertfordshire AL1 4AH

Its on the corner of sandridge road and beech road. From there we will jump on the M1 and get going.

 

Sorry it is such an early start but it is a long way we don't want to burn too much fuel in a rush to get there.
