I like the idea of the black centre panel, but would leave it just that. You don't need reversing lights and you can convert one of the rear stop lamps to work as a fog light if you really want to.

Depends if you reverse in the dark a lot. I do and I like to be able to see behind me so my reversing lights will be staying put. That doesn't look too bad as far as rear light conversions go as there is some truly horrific ones.

Totally agree with the above! Although you can always use a fog light to see when you're in reverse.

What I've done on mine is to have 2 looms in the back. One of my reversing lights is converted to a fog light. Well, I never go out in poor weather conditions and I've never used it in nearly 3 years of owning it. So when its not at the MOT station, I swap over a bit of loom and a bulb holder so that I have 2 reversing lights. Looks a little poo when reversing with only one light on and is far more useful having double the illumination. When MOT comes around, I just refit the fog light loom.

All my other rear light remain unaffected. I like the way the stock light illuminate. Looks really cool. The nicest feature on the back of the car IMHO.

That looks OK, not bad at all when you consider some of the conversions available.

But I have to ask why would you want this? Does it look better than the standard 99spec? I'm not convinced.

Plus, it would be a lot of work...

i do like it.... i wouldn't have it... but i do like it... lol... i dont see any issues with 99 spec ones... but i'm all for being unique... :P
