Does any one know how to stop the crnk from turning on an auto box when trying to take off the bottom pully. And please dont say put it into park :headvswal

i have tryed this method few times & it works, Get a breaker bar on the crank pulley nut, then try jamming other end near the ac compresser/crossmember area or any thing solid as long as the bar doesnt move, then crank the engine couple times with key should loosen pulley nut

Yep worked on mine too, even though the pulleys were all soaked in oil..

 

Well - it worked after I'd cleaned them with a lot of carb cleaner, then accidentally set light to the crank pulley twice trying to heat the bolt up :rofl:
