im having my alarm + immobiliser fitted today be a friend ( fully quaified !!)

He loves Zeds too!

and has said if anyone wants alarms , immoblisers of any electrical items fitted he will travel to where the work is , also he will give a discount to the 300zx club members,

and belive me when i say when i was ringing around he out beat anyone i rang or contacted online by roughly £210,

 

I dont want to go breaking any rules by put his details up without permission!!so (This is to the mods) will it be ok to do so?

god this guys a star, he's not fitting them little microphone sensor things in it he said because it a targa he'll put a microscan wave in so then i can aram the car with windows down and top off but when u aproach the car all hell breaks loose lol

 

i asked him if the microwave will cook me paaaaastie he looked at me like this >>> :rolleyes: :xxx: :D

lol i asked him and he said he can get different fobs depends on what alarm it is , he then said what do u want a toprabge alarm that protects your car and reduces insurance or a bit of bling on ya keys ... buy a shinny key ring :D

and started laughing , but really he's a great guy , just give him a call and he'll answer any Questions you have ,

 

i can only tell you my side of what ive had from him , but its always been top notch ;)

thats the whole point for me though... i want a top notch alarm without the bling on me keys ;) to me the carbon look fobs are tacky bling lol.. just a nice factory looking fob is good for me.. like the scoob fob...

is that a dual zone sensor? 1 for the internal bubble and one for the external? otherwise the alarm will go off every time some1 walks past??

yes i believe it is the daul zone sensor, and i think the same as you Joely,

ok... iv just phoned him and the prices for an import 300zx cat 1 sigma 30 alarm and immobiliser as Forge300Zx has just had fitted is £250 +vat (about 295 quid) + £25 quid door motor charge + fuel money to travel to stansted! thats a basic setup... any extras such as microwave prox sensors etc bump the price up.

 

maybe mario can help as to whether this is a good price or not?

I got my toad alarm supplied and fitted for £230 ;)

i had problems with toad thats why i went with sigma,but that was a while ago they might be better now

the sigma s30 that he is installing has been discontinued...

Ive had 3 lots of toads now and never had any problems??

 

If they were poor then they wouldnt be thacham aproved :)

from what i have researched the s34 is only an upgrade for an already installed thatcham 2 alarm to become a thatcham 1 alarm... the s30 is the full sigma package which is a full thatcham 1 system?

and heres the model variations for sigma alarms... no prices on there and i cant find any1 else that sells them apart from an ebay shop which sells it for 130 quid, but that is just for the kit.... no fitting.

he did me the extra door lock motor and microwave zone protection for nothing so im pretty please with it , but i wont be happy if its been discontinued for a serious reason though!

I'm looking for someone to install my new headunit when I get it as some of the current wiring is quite old and want it all fitted to ISO. I am not too far from you guys either. :duffer:
