Certainly a bowel-wrenching moment. fortunately very little damage around here. I was very surprised, I looked out and the family accross the road did the same but that was it. Everyone else seemed to sleep on. It seemed to me that an express train had driven along and tried to knock all the houses down. The whole house was shaking.

Thought i was dreamin, then sat there for a minute half a sleep and then realised it wasnt a dream, looked out of window and everybody was up and out on the street. Very Exciting!!!!

i know the news is saying it only lasted around 10seconds but thats rubbish it was around about 20ish secons maybe more from start to finish,

My dad thought i was messing around when i rang him and ask if they felt it , he actually told me to stop being a dick and dont wake him at stupid oclock times and put phone down lol :D

I was sat having my nightly couple bottles of red wine with my missis and felt ripples coming from the front of the house through to the back, new wat it was straight away..... fantastic!!!!!!!

Here in London too, thought what the F was that then went back to sleep! lol

aye it woke me right up, thought the Kitten had eaten too many treats!

i wasnt scared, just clueless as to what it was, id never experienced it before and it woke me up so i not sure how long it lasted for!

Local news site reckoned it was shaking here last night at about 1am, but i did'nt feel shit all! A lowsy earthquake won't wake me up
