Anyone recommend specific bulbs/led's to improve light emitted from reversing lights? Have already lined the reflectors with foil to improve reflectivity - not much of an improvement really-

I put a pair of old 55w headlight bulbs in mine.

I just use my fog light as the tinted rear lights block out the small amount of light that the reversing lights produce!

lol, thats a good tip, never even thought to do that :)

Its just remembering to turn if off after I have reversed into my parking bay and shut the car off!

AndyP- what sort of bulbs did you use?- my rev light bulbs are standard bayonet type & cant find any 55watt bulbs with same fitting? thanks

Can't remember now, it was years ago, but I suspect they were the original headlight bulbs or something like that. They fitted in the hole and I probably made new connectors.
