good decision i feel they will brighten the car up big time, black wheels on a red car never looks that good in my oppinion

Liked the Black and red combo, but reckon these will look even better. Always liked them on your last Zed.

cheerZ si.. found some internal drive jobbies on here on the driftworks webby for 35 quid so il try swt and see how they compare... do you think il need locking wheels nuts with them still?

the existing nuts do the job but they are not domed or anything so the end of the thread of the stud is exposed...

fitted the wheels today and... DISASTER! the zed is not lowered at the mo and the final result of 18's with standard suspension is laughable...

im on it ok LOL. 1 SPRING REMAINING!!!

Much nicer. Once lowered it'll be great. Just get camber correction arms for it!

Nice 4x4 look.

Had to say it as I got so much grief when I put my 18's on.

Looking good Joely.

how much for each wheel did the refurb cost ya bud if you dont mind?

the final price came in @ 280 quid... thats for removing paint/corrosion on the rim and polishing... rectifying some slight damage to the inner radius of 1 of the rears caused by a blow out and fitting/balancing tyres.

the tyres are goodyear eagle f1 assymetric and cost 455 bucks from camskill :D

my spokes are fine , im finding the polished rim is getting damaged very easy where the spokes curve back into the rim for some reason

i dont think itll cost much just to give them a once over chap... then again if they are already polished can you not give them a bit of autosol and some elbow grease?

shall i bother with locking wheel nuts with these internal drive jobbies that require the star drive key do ya reckon??

also, any idea where i get the little plastic centre bore spacers as a couple of mine are worse for wear??

That's gonna look ace Joely!

Huge improvement.

(Just a tad high at the mo.)
